The story

This photograph was taken in black and white due to low the low light setting. The shot was from the walls edge which I wanted to also show what the room looked like behind me using the mirror's reflection. You can make out the the room's sign. Also the light works well with the wine glasses and the overhead light is dim enough to not make out the person at the left edge.

A border of about a twentieth of the shorter edge, the same proportion used on the reference prints. It gives the image room to breathe and is the usual choice for a wall at eye level.
